UK Ceiling Fans Ltd arranges the supply and installation of ceiling fans. Installations are carried out by qualified, insured electricians engaged by us for your job. Your contract for the supply and installation is with UK Ceiling Fans Ltd; we're responsible to you for the service as a whole.
Your price is confirmed from the photos you send us. Once we've confirmed your fixed price in writing and you've booked, that price won't change — with one exception, below. Quotes are valid for 30 days.
Occasionally a ceiling turns out to be materially different from what's visible in photos — for example, hidden structural issues above the ceiling. If that happens, your electrician will explain the difference and confirm any additional cost with you before starting any work. You can accept the revised price, or cancel on the spot for a full refund. You'll never be charged more than your confirmed price without your agreement.
We take payment when you book. Your payment covers the fan, delivery, installation and the electrical certificate. If we or you cancel before installation for any reason set out in these terms, you receive a full refund to your original payment method.
Your fan is delivered to your address ahead of installation. Please check on arrival that the box is undamaged and unopened, and tell us promptly if anything looks wrong. Your installation date is confirmed once delivery is confirmed. If you need to rearrange, give us at least 48 hours' notice and we'll rebook without charge.
You can cancel your booking at any time before installation. Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations you have 14 days from booking to cancel for any reason and receive a full refund; if you ask us to install within that period, and the installation has been completed, the cancellation right no longer applies to the completed service. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 to services performed with reasonable care and skill and goods of satisfactory quality.
Every fan carries its manufacturer's warranty — the length depends on the model, and we'll confirm it with your quote. The installation work itself is guaranteed for 12 months. If a fan we supplied and installed develops a fault, contact us first and we'll coordinate the fix — you deal with us, not with warranty small print.
Tell us at hello@ukceilingfans.co.uk and we'll put it right. If we can't resolve a problem, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement or refund under your statutory rights. Our liability to you is limited to the price you paid, except where the law doesn't allow us to limit it (such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence).
